Teachings of Jesus for your Daily Life

His life showed us how to be happy, find peace, and return to God. today.Taking following lessons from Jesus will lead you to a more happy and meaningful life.

In Jesus’ teaching, he taught us that we should love God above all things, just as we should love our neighbor as ourselves. It is then that we will have demonstrated one of the fruits of the spirit by crucifying our sinful nature, along with its passions and desires, and thus showing what it means to live according to God.

“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.’” (Matthew 22:37-40)

What does it mean to love God? What does that mean to us? In order to love him, we must do His will in our lives, which is to uphold His word in all that we do in the course of our lives. In doing so, we glorify Him in every thought and action we do, because He remembers us and will never leave us nor forsake us in our time of need.

Can you tell me how we should love our neighbor? According to Jesus, there is no greater act of Love than to be willing to give up your life in the service of another person. In the event that our neighbor is in need, we ought to minister to him or her with all the resources we possess, as we would like to be served. We should give to them what we would give to ourselves if we were in their shoes.

Those who truly love as God would have them love will also enjoy the countless blessings of happiness, peace, joy, patience,  goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness,  and self-control as they enjoy each other’s company. There is no limit to what God will do to you, therefore love God and love your neighbor with all your heart.

If you replace hate with love and anger with kindness, you will feel closer to God and you will experience more peace in your life as a result.

Keep the Golden Rule in mind at all times

A Golden Rule was taught by Jesus during His Sermon on the Mount, and it is from this passage that Jesus teaches, “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them” (Matthew 7:12).

To put it another way, you should treat others as you would like to be treated yourself. As you do so, you will strengthen your relationships and be happier. Lots of blessings, my dear Friends…
