One day, while a farmer was tending to his horse Buddy in a rural area, a stranger suddenly appeared who urgently need the farmer’s assistance. It appears that the stranger lost control of his vehicle and slid off into a ditch after he lost control.
In order to pull the vehicle out of the ditch, the stranger asked the farmer if his horse could somehow pull the vehicle out of the ditch for him. He told the farmer that his car was a small vehicle. In response, the farmer said he would come, bring his horse, and take a look, but he could not promise that he would be able to help if there was any chance that his horse might be injured in any way by trying to pull the vehicle out of the ditch.
It was evident that the stranger was correct, and that the vehicle was small, so the farmer took a rope and fixed it on the side of his horse, Buddy, so that Buddy would be able to pull the vehicle from the ditch with a rope.
“Pull, Casey, pull,” the farmer said to the horse, but it would not move. Seeing the horse wasn’t moving, the farmer said,
“Pull, Bailey, Pull,” but the horse didn’t move. After that, the farmer said, “Pull, Mandy, pull,” and the horse once again refused to move. The farmer then called out, “Pull, Buddy, pull,” and the horse began pulling the vehicle from the ditch.
A stranger expressed his gratitude to the farmer, but asked why he called the horse different names?
