The time has come. The kingdom of God is near. It is time to repent and believe the Good News!
It was Jesus’ message. Every other aspect of the Gospels illustrates what this means. By doing so, we learn what it means to live as a servant of the King, who he is, and how we can enter the kingdom of God. Jesus’ miracles are meant to illustrate what life is like in God’s kingdom – wholeness, healing, and fullness. Jesus’ preaching is illustrating the central point — the kingdom of God.
