A touching story of a kid and his father
An inspiring story of a kid who despite his small size kept doing his best at football, cheered on by his loving father. While the boy rarely played, his father always supported him no matter what. As a college student, the son made the football team primarily because of his inspiration, not his skill.
Even though he warmed the bench during his college football career, his father had season tickets and attended every game.
Then, the son got word that his dad had died at the end of his senior year. Likewise, the coach released him from further practices and the last game. When the big game finally came around, however, the son showed up to play and begged for a chance to be able to play in the game. In the end, he contributed to the victory by performing brilliantly and contributing to the team’s success. In the hours following the kid’s impressive performance, the coach was in awe and asked the kid how he managed to play in such a manner, which astonished him.
